♥概况 Profile

新都桥是四川康定市西部的一个小镇，距康定市81公里。属高原气候，海拔约3460米。说到新都桥，其实并不是一个固定的景点，而是指出新都桥镇向东向西2公里外沿线，长达10公里的风景长廊。秋天(特别是10月)是去新都桥最好的季节，可以看到大片金黄的白杨树和连绵的雪山。新都桥也是众所周知的”摄影天堂”。

Xinduqiao is a small town to the west of Kangding Sichuan, which is 81 kilometers from Kangding city.
It’s a place with plateau climate and located 3460 meters above the sea level.
When it comes to Xinduqiao, it’s not a specific scenic spot, but rather a 10km long passage stretching from the east to the west of Xinduqiao.
Autumn（especially in October） is the best season to visit; you can see large, golden white poplar trees and rolling snowcapped mountains. It known as a “photography paradise”

♥景点 Scenic spot

十里长廊 10km Gallery

雪山下，蜿蜒的小河，夏季开满鲜花的草原，秋天金黄色的杨树林，还有沿途的藏式民居，一群群牦牛和山羊，绘出一幅雪山田园牧歌图。

Snowy mountains, winding rivers flowers in the Summer time, the golden poplar tree in Autumn, and the Tibetan houses with their yaks and goats，which have been drown a pastoral painting.

贡嘎山观景台 Gongga Mount view point

从雅克国际青年旅社向南，沿着318国道步行2公里便到了贡嘎山观景台脚下。但是还需要向上爬大约1公里才到达最高点。站在最高点，新都桥镇尽收眼底。秋天最好五点左右赶到，等待日落，看日照金山。

From Xinduqiao, Yak International Youth Hostel to the south, after 2 km walking along the 318 national highway I arrived at the foot of Gongga Mount scenic point. It will take about one kilometer hiking to reach the highest scenic point. Standing at the highest point, the town of Xinduqiao can seen in its entirety. Autum is the best time to visit, arrive at 5 o ‘clock in the afternoon, and wait for sunsetting over sunshine golden hill.

♥交通 Transportation

从成都出发前往新都桥并没有直达车，需在康定转车。可在www.scqcp.com上购票，也可提前一天到汽车站买。

成都——康定：车次很多，从早上七点到下午两点，每隔30-50分钟一趟。票价130-160元不等。

康定市区——新都桥：建议包车或者拼车前往，一般50元每人，车程2小时。在康定汽车站门口有很多司机，谈好价格，一般2-4人一车，坐满发车。如果定好了新都桥的住宿，上车可以直接告诉司机客栈名称；若没有提前预定，可告诉司机在距新都桥镇4公里处住宿集中的地方下车。

There is no direct bus from Chengdu to Xinduqiao, so I need to transfer at Kangding City. You can buy tickets on the web: www.scqcp.com, or go to the bus station one day in advance.

Chengdu——Kangding: There are many buses departing from Chengdu to Kangding, every day from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m., every 30 to 50 minutes. The price is 130-160rmb per person.

Kangding——Xinduqiao:

I recommend to take a chartered bus or shared car from Kangding to Xinduqiao. It usually takes 2 hours to get there. The price is around 50rmb per person for a chartered bus. There are lots of “Shifu” in front of Kangding Bus Station. You could try to bargain a bit and then make a deal. Shifu will set out when the car is full of people (Usually 4 people). If you already booked the hostel in Xinduqiao, you can tell the driver the name of your hostel directly. If not, you can tell the driver to get off at the location of 4 kilometers from Xinduqiao town, where many accommodation options can be found..

♥住宿和餐饮 Accommodation and restaurants

新都桥镇住宿条件一般，60元-400元每晚不等。10月是旺季，此期间房价是平时的3-4陪，最好提前预定。推荐”新都桥雅克国际青年旅社”。

新都桥属藏区，主要饮食以川菜和藏餐为主，一般人均35元左右。

The accommodation options in town are generally ok. Usually in the range of 60-400rmb per night. October is the peak season. During this period the accommodation price is usually 3-4 times than that of the normal time. Better to book in advance.

Hostel Recommend: Xinduqiao Yak International Youth Hostel

Xinduqiao is a Tibetan area. The main diet is Sichuan dishes and Tibetan cuisine. The price is not cheap, usually about 35rmb per person.

♥注意事项 Tips

语言：当地语言以四川话和藏语为主，但是大多数当地年轻人用普通话交流也没问题。

海拔：海拔3460米，有些地方高于4000米。注意不要感冒，不同程度的高原反应，属正常现象。

Language: The local language is Sichuan dialect and Tibetan, but most local young people can speak mandarin.

Altitude: 3,460 meters above sea level, some areas are above 4000 meters. Pay attention not to catch a cold. If get an altitude sickness, is a normal phenomenon.
